Ann Rowley
So many paintings, so little time!
I am attracted to subjects with exciting design and colour possibilities, especially if they offer scope for narrative, metaphor or humour. Favourite themes at the moment include people, buildings, trees and abstracts, and I usually prefer watercolour, oil, charcoal or acrylics as media. Over the years I have taken a variety of courses, including some at Emily Carr University and the Federation of Canadian Artists, of which I am an active member. I also enjoy figure and portrait sessions at Basic Inquiry Studio, and as a member of Artists of Kerrisdale I enjoy constant learning and fellowship.
